After wrapping up my master script, my friend and former flight attendant Steven invited me on a trip to Singapore as an Immediate Past Boarding traveler. Despite only having 48 hours in Singapore, we managed to explore a lot of what the city-state had to offer.

We were left in awe of the city’s cultural diversity and modern architecture as we took the Singapore Cable Car for stunning views of the city skyline and relaxed at the tranquil Tanjong Beach.

In addition, we explored the vibrant streets of Chinatown and visited the breathtaking Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Sri Mariamman Temple. The iconic landmarks of the Singapore Flyer and Marina Bay Sands provided us with magnificent views of the cityscape.

What I found remarkable about Singapore was its cleanliness and hospitality. The city is so well-organized and designed, yet it still serves as a bustling logistical and cultural hub for the world. While Singapore was not a typical travel destination for me, I’m so glad I had the chance to explore this extraordinary city.
